Our website will be evolving over the next several months in order to better serve our students, faculty, staff, and community partners throughout Northwest Louisiana. Whether you are a high school student or a recent graduate, a returning student or a degree holder seeking new skills or training, Northwest can provide you an opportunity to achieve your goals.

The vision at Northwest is to become a state, national, and world leader in high quality career and technical education.  We are singularly focused on providing world class service to our students and helping them to achieve their educational and career objectives. We serve the nine parishes of the northwest Louisiana region with campuses in Mansfield, Minden, Natchitoches, Sabine Valley (Many), and Shreveport. We also have instructional centers at Camp Minden, Caddo Correctional Center, and David Wade Correctional Center.

Northwest is doing what it was created to do… it is efficiently and effectively working with other educational institutions, in partnership with business and industry to serve the workforce needs of Northwest Louisiana. Workforce development is not a hobby for us… it’s what we do every single day. Our 50+ curricular offerings prepare students for the world of work in high wage, high skill, and high demand fields.
