MINDEN, Louisiana, February 4, 2015 — Northwest Louisiana Technical College Minden Campus was buzzing with excitement this morning as Training Consultants, Inc. donated $83,000 in trainers for the college’s new industrial electricity program. Tony Shackleford, national sales manager for Training Consultants, Inc., was pleased to help forge this partnership with Northwest LTC and looks forward to the much anticipated growth in this high skill, high wage, high demand program.
Scott Price, assistant dean, is excited by the new partnership with TCI and the potential of this program to meet workforce needs in our region. “We exist to support business an industry with a workforce that gives them a competitive advantage.” He continued, “With partners like Tony and TCI, we will meet the training needs of Northwest Louisiana and contribute to the statewide goals outlined in Our Louisiana 2020.”
Electricity instructor, Mike Holomon, is looking forward to working with the new trainers. “Our students need state-of-the-art trainers to be better prepared for the workforce of tomorrow.” He too, is deeply grateful to Training Consultants, Inc. for their investment in the industrial electricity program.
