MINDEN, Louisiana, July 18,2014—Northwest Louisiana Technical College’s Minden campus is pleased to announce that the May 2014 practical nursing class achieved a 100% pass rate on the state board licensing examination, the NCLEX-PN.


According to Cathy Maddry, Assistant Dean, “We have had three classes achieve 100% first-time writer’s success within the past two years, and each success calls for recognition and celebration! The students graduating from our program are a very dedicated group of individuals.” “We are extremely proud of our graduates, and many health care facilities call to request assistance in locating one of our LPNs to fill a position on staff,” states Dr. Rick Bateman, Regional Director. “We are truly honored with a good reputation for quality LPNs, and our dedicated students and staff strive to maintain that level of quality.”
